A city of light, colour and orange blossom
Valencia gives a wedding two worlds within half an hour. In the old town: Gothic churches, the Cathedral, La Lonja and the narrow streets of El Carmen. Across the old Turia riverbed, the white curves of the City of Arts and Sciences. A few kilometres south, the Albufera lagoon and the dunes of El Saler have the most beautiful sunsets in the region.
Many couples celebrate at a masía in the huerta among orange trees, or head inland to the vineyards of Utiel-Requena. I know these places and their light, and I will help you decide when to be where — a short boat ride at El Palmar just before sunset, for example.
I photograph civil and church weddings, elopements and multi-day celebrations across the province of Valencia, for local couples and for those flying in from abroad.
