Weddings in Alicante
The Costa Blanca, from Dénia to Elche
The Alicante coast is made for weddings: whitewashed Altea above its bay, the cliffs and coves of Jávea and Moraira, the Peñón de Ifach rising over Calpe, and the palm groves of Elche, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Inland, mountain villages like Guadalest and quiet fincas among almond and olive trees give the day a completely different, rustic mood.
The light here is generous and strong, so timing matters. In June and July the sun sets after nine in the evening: a ceremony at around 18:30 leaves time for drinks first, then portraits in the softest light just before dinner. I am happy to help you plan the timeline around it.
I photograph couples marrying in Alicante city — below the castle of Santa Bárbara or on the Postiguet beach — and all along the Costa Blanca.
